COSTA ARRIBA DE COLON
Costa Arriba de Colon is the area located east of the city of Colon. It encompasses the northernmost coast of Panama and stretches eastward to Cuango and Punta San Blas. Characterized by exoticl beaches, coastal mountains and tropical rain forests, it enjoys unique traditions influenced by geographical location, history and culture. This is the Caribbean coast once haunted by Spanish conquistadors, buccaneers and pirates.
While less than a two-hour drive from Panama City, Costa Arriba de Colon has yet to be discovered by developers. It retains its tranquil life style, pristine natural beautify and superb recreational opportunities. The cost of living and land prices are modest when compared to Bocas de Toro, Boquete and Panama City. These advantages are attracting a small but growing international community. Many expats now living in Costa Arriba arrived in yachts, purchased property and now make Costa Arriba their home: Americans, French, and Germans predominate.
